Dwarf pineapple

Ananas nanus-dwarf pineapple

This little pineapple (Ananas nanus) is grown for its looks but is edible. With sharp spines on the leaves, it should be handled with care.

This one was at Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden near Hilo.
