This week’s Sunday Stills challenge theme is ‘Images Inspired by Favorite Song Lyrics.’ See more responses here.
Day three of this theme response is a sunset photo that seemed apt for both Paul Simon’s Late in the Evening and Eels’ Wonderful, Glorious.
Gorgeous shots, Graham. It’s the middle of the night here, so I’m going to have to come back to listen, or I’ll wake my husband. That was a fun post of SS, though, wasn’t it?

It’s a great topic. I’d have done something more ambitious, but have not had much time lately. Actually, doing this short series of responses has been helpful in that regard.

Lovely sunset….. (haven’t heard of these songs, I checked out the ones in your last post!)

The Paul Simon song is an older one, but fairly well known. Eels is maybe more of a niche band, but I like the album this song came from.

I’m not a big music listener, actually, so I’m notoriously bad at recognising songs anyway!

I’m not these days either though I’ve reached an age where old songs I hoped were dead and gone suddenly pop into my head again!

Hah! For me, it’s kids’ songs that pop into my head nowadays!

Great shot for these songs, Graham. I forgot what a fun song the Simon song is!. The Eels still have that surf beat in this song.
