I don’t have a lot of ‘decor’ photos, but I think this sort of fits the bill. It’s one of several fun benches at Pana’ewa Rainforest Zoo in Hilo. Probably less fun to sit in, but you can’t have everything!

Maybe the bench is not for humans. Or maybe the cage is not for the birds!!! This is an intriguing picture, Graham.

The zoo is fairly small and popular with families, so I think the benches (there are several of them) are mainly for the kids. I like their quirkiness though.

Is it inside of the big bird cage? Sitting may have unforeseen consequences 😂

Outside the cage so no danger unless you lean back on a beak or claw.

I like what Jacquie wrote, haha! Such a beautiful and quite a decorative bench, Graham! How big was it…I guess I’m curious about the scale and the size of the parrots. REally well-done!

The bench is a good size. I’d say it would fit three adults. The birds are big, that’s for sure.

I’ve posted photos of the zoo benches before and I think they’re designed for looks rather than comfort, but they’re a fun element for what is a fairly small zoo.
