We had some strange weather here a week or so ago when a very wet system hung around the island for several day. One of the results was that we would get some sudden downpours such as this one.

Life giving rains Graham. That system must have headed north-east towards you. We had huge deluges last month.

Well it did move up from the south, but I’m not sure it came all the way from your part of the world. Seems like there are more oddities and extremes everywhere these days.

Around my house, it’s hard to get a shot that really captures how much rain is falling. This is about the best I can do.
