This week’s Sunday Stills challenge theme is ‘Vivid.’ See more responses here.
I took the opportunity to revisit the murals surrounding a courtyard in downtown Hawi. I’ve posted a couple of inmages before, here and here, but there are others that certainly can be described as vivid.

The bottom one is one I featured a couple of years ago (here) as a work in progress. I’m still not sure whether this is the finished article. I suspect some of those white areas on the right will get more detail one of these days.
Also posted for Becky’s Squares theme of “Walking” (See more responses here).

Vivid alright. They must draw the eye as people move along, and brighten their day.

They certainly catch the eye, though they’re a bit up from road level so I suspect many people don’t even notice them. This is where the weekly market is held so people going there will see them.

Certainly vivid murals, Graham! I like how the rainbow appears out of the image–great artist! Looks like the artist needs to paint something on the signs in that last one.

I’ve been monitoring that last one as I wanted to do a follow up of the completed image. I do think there’s still a bit to go, as you say, and the left side is no longer visible as a bush is obscuring it!

If it’s any consolation, it was getting pretty dark here by 5pm as well.
