This week’s Sunday Stills challenge theme is ‘Plant Life.’ See more responses here. Since I went to Hawai’i Tropical Bioreserve & Garden a couple of weeks ago, it seems appropriate to post a few of those photos for this one.

Those gardens are always fun to visit and I see something new every time. It’s hard to go wrong taking photos there.

Glad you liked it Jo. I hardly use my reader. I rely mostly on email alerts that I’ve signed up for.

Some beautiful photos, Graham, so it must have been a a worthwhile visit. The hula skirt orchid is quite stunning; I’d love to try and grow it, but fear the conditions won’t be damp enough.

I loved that orchid. Made me want to get one and grow it at home. Trouble is, if I put it in the ground, the pigs would demolish it.

It’s not a huge place, but it’s good to take one’s time.

Every plant needs a photo or two plus a picnic lunch easy walk for a few hours at least

Of course I always love a gecko shot, Graham! Lovely to see the plants at the bioreserve. That begonia exotica is amazing!

The begonia is a winner. It was one of several new plants I saw this last visit.
