Those are awesome Graham. Love that purple dragonfly. When we were on Oahu I saw a few red crested cardinals..I was so excited, as I love cardinals and never realized there were other kinds besides a completely red one.

Thanks Kirstin. I see a few Red-crested Cardinals here and lots of Yellow-billed Cardinals, which are probably the most numerous cardinals here.

The wings on that first bird are enormous! You’ve captured am interesting collection and I would never gave thought to go under the ocean for wings!

Thanks Bernie. Those frigatebirds are tremendous flying machines and, while that first photo isn’t the greatest, I love how it shows the power of those wings.

What a great collection, Graham, that reminds us of things we may not have expected on reading the title or the theme. Good job.

Thanks. I had a lot of options, but tried to focus on the wings.

Beautiful wings! My favorite is the NeNe. I like the airplane, too.

Stunning sets of wings, Graham! That cardinal was after you. Are there cardinals in Hawaii?
I knew you would share some underwater wings, as only you can! I almost added some blue angels pics, but the post was getting long.

I had a lot to choose from, but wanted to highlight the wings where I could.
