Of course, the gecko with the temporary moustache is my favourite but I’m intrigued by your water tank – what an unusual shape. Ours are all cylinders or rectangular prisms.

I think this was a very old tank. The shape was one of the things that got my attention.

It’s not unusual for me to see geckos when I look down into plants. I think they like the water that sometimes accumulates there and it’s probably a bit cooler. And of course they might luck upon a moth after the same things.

excellent photos and the Hawaii Amakih remindes me a little of the warbler

Thanks. The Amakihi is similar but a with a bit of a curve in the beak for feeding at the flowers it likes.
