Hurricane Nolo passed south of the Big Island this weekend without doing too much in the way of damage. It was windy, and there was a good deal of rain, and these dramatic skies as the hurricane approached.

Luckily this one wasn’t to bad here. Some flooding and strong winds, but no significant damage that I’ve heard of. shortly after the hurricane turned west, its wind speed picked up to 155 mph!

No indeed. The hurricane had winds of around 90 mph at it’s closest point to the island be not long after it turned west it was clocking 155 mph! Not sorry to have missed that.
