I spotted this Black Witch Moth resting on the underside of a large leaf. I like this photo for the clean line of the front of the wings and those big eyes.
Recently, I’ve seen these two donkeys in a small field alongside the road over Kohala Mountain. The last time I went by I remembered to stop and take photos. The donkeys were not impressed.
There are a variety of statues along the coast in front of the Hilton Resort at Waikoloa. This is one of them. Not sure I’ve ever seen a goat that looks like that!

A view into Pololu Valley from the back of the beach. Yes, those are cattle being raised here. Getting them in and out of here would not be a task for the faint of heart!
