It should come as no surprise to learn that old surfboards are often recycled as markers for home addresses. Sometimes attached to gates, or standing alone, as this one is, they catch the eye. That is, so long as the foliage around them is hacked down once in a while.

I saw this small Whitemouth Moray Eel sticking out from a gap in the rocks. With its mouth open, it’s easy to identify.
